Snow storm

Not the best pictures, maybe I should have taken them during the day. The snow is still coming. The light post is probably about six feet tall at least and the snow pile is above my head and almost to the top of the light post.

Here are some more layouts

ScrapFIT Workout #13

Here is a card I made for the challenge over at ScrapFIT for Workout #13 here which was to make a bra card with the template from Pinky's blog. This was inspired by Pinky at Much Ado About Nothing. You should check out both blogs, they have some amazing projects. I am giving this to my girlfriend at her bridal shower. We were asked to bring a piece of lingerie. Sorry about the horrible pictures but it would not stay standing up so I had to hold it with one hand and try to take the picture with the other than the shadow got in the way. TFL

Tellen Place Challenge

This is a card I made for a teen birthday and to enter at the challenge at Tellen's Place. We had to play Tic-Tac-Toe and use three items in a row. I used Flowers, Punch (Martha Stewart Loopy punch around the page) and pink bling in the middle of the flower. I also inked the edges pink and put a velcro dot on the flap to hold the card closed. On the inside I made a pocket for a gift card. The digi stamp is one of the free ones Tellen's Place offered on their blog. http://tellensplace.blogspot.com/

Cards

Here are some Christmas cards aimed towards kids I made recently:

Valentine Treats

Here is a Target mailbox I altered for my DD's teacher for her Valentine. Got the idea to alter this mailbox off of Makeupgirl217 from the Cricut MB. I used paper, stickers, brads and heart-shaped jewels (all from the Target $1 bin). I cut some of the cupcakes out of one of the pp and popped them on the mailbox to match the big cupcake sticker on the front. The brad also had a cupcake on it. The stamp on the flag says "100% Sweet" with a piece of candy. The ribbon is from M's and says Happy Valentine's Day on it.

I made 18 of the sour cream containers floating around in blogosphere and the Cricut MB for DD's treats. Sorry, not sure who to give credit to for these containers as I have seen them on a lot of different blogs and a lot of people on the Cricut MB. I attached the Valentine cards that DD picked out to the containers with a brad. My DD picked Princess cards for the girls and Scooby Doo for the boys.

More layouts

Here are some more layouts I have been working on for my DS's book:

Pictures from various Sonograms. Because of the problems I had with my DD, I had sonograms every other month. It was really neat to see him grown inside me and to watch his features develope:

I am not sure why this is sideways, on my computer it is straight and I have tried several different things to get it straight but they are not working.

This is the page I did about the day he was born and the events leading up to it. Basically the story goes that I went in to be induced which did not work and I had to go back a week later to be induced again, which worked but my DD was with my SIL and she came to visit and was like, isn't he here yet. My SIL took her to lunch and then came back again, at which point she told me enough already, when is my baby coming (since this was her's not mine LOL) and I included a picture of her waiting so patiently for him to arrive LOL.

This is the delivery, he was so alert and wide eyed:

Some layouts

I have started working on my DS's 1st book, I know I am a little late, he is 2 and a half now but better late than never right. I have to get his book done because he looks at my DD's books (she has three now) and wonders where he is (her last book ended before he was born). Here are some of them:

Everyone came to visit in the hospital and the day we arrived home. My DD got a present from her Aunt while we were at the hospital, she loves to play dress-up so had to include a picture of that

This is my niece's birthday party shortly after he was born.

I started this layout for the Gypsy Spot black and gold challenge but did not get it finished in time.

I will post more later. TFL

Doodle Dragon Studio Challenge

I made this card for the Doodle Dragon Studio sketch challenge. This is the first time I have done a card with a digi stamp. I colored him with my pastel chalk pencils and used some heart background paper I had left over from making my DD's valentine treats with a glitter red cardstock as a frame. I used some heart crystal embellies left over from the valentine treats as well. The sentiment says "Come on baby, light my fire, Come on baby, light my fire, Try to set the night on fire". I made this card for my DH as he is really into music and this is from a Door's song I like. Not bad for a first try. TFL

Practical Scrapper's Diecut Challenge

This is a picture I made for my son's room using various diecuts from the Mickey & Friends cart and the Cars cart cut on my Cricut, he loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (which is what his room is decorated with) and Cars. I used some stickles to make them sparkle.

This is a picture I made for my daughter's room because she loves anything with a princess and anything pink. I cut these diecuts from the Happily Ever After and the Dreams Do Come True carts using my cricut. I used some stickles to make these ones sparkle too.

I love making the characters on my cricut. I think they are fun and they turn out so nice. The kids love them and insist that everyone that comes to visit goes to their rooms to look at them.

Here is my card for the challenge part which is a card, layout, etc. with the theme of Moving. I made this card to send to my nephew who is at boot camp right now and can only receive snail mail. I used the snail off of the Spongebob cricut cart. with a background paper from the DCWV All Dressed Up stack and printed the sentiment out on my computer. The sentiment says "Sending snail mail to see how the new place is working out". I am also entering this in Practical Scrappers weekly challenge which is diecuts.
