Here's a card I made using the Alice in Wonderland image from The Greeting Farm. In our Royal Battle group, Happy Stampy, we each made a retro card with the color challenge to see which one we wanted to submit for the Royal Battle entry, this was my card. We went with Bernadette's cute and sassy card (below), and you can go HERE to vote for our group to stay in the Royal Battle. They are eliminating half the groups after the votes are closed on Tuesday night. So here is another shameless plug to go vote for our group's entry. Thanks!!

Some Layouts for DS' book
Here are some more layouts for my DS' first book. I am slowly getting there. I have to take a break from his book though because I am going to start making my DD's birthday invites, decorations, favors, centerpieces and maybe some games using the Once Upon a Princess Cricut cart. She has decided that she wants to have a costume party, it is not a dress-up party because there will be boys there and they will not be coming as a princess so she went with the costume party theme. She said she didn't care if they came as a monster or a princess/prince, whatever they wanted to dress as. She always says that she wishes that her birthday was in October because they have the pretty pink birthstone and they get to dress-up for candy in their birthday month. I will share pictures once I start to design and cut them.

Happy Birthday Princess
This is a birthday card I made for a little girl turning 5. She loves Sleeping Beauty. I cut her out at 4 inches along with all her layers. I used a vellum sticker I had to cover an epoxy patterned drop to say You're 5 Today. I printed the "May all your birthday dreams come true" off my computer. For the inside I took a piece of Sleeping Beauty ribbon I had left over from pictures of a Disney trip we took and glues down three sides and made it into a gift card holder with two epoxy stickers to make sure the glue holds along with another vellum sticker I had that said Happy Birthday.
Happy Birthday In Bloom
This is the third image sent to us for March by Deligthful inspirations. You can read about the challenge here and you can see all of her stamps at Designed2Delight digital stamps. I made the image into a card by making the image 6 inches and printing it out. Then I flipped the image and printed it again on brown cardstock. I cut a little below the line of the bottom of the pot and then cut off the flowers for the back of the card. I colored my image and attached my sentiment. Then I folded the brown cardstock over a little and ran my tape runner along the folded down part and glued it to the back of the lip of the pot. I put a cream piece of cardstock on the back so that I can write a birthday message to my mom. She loves flowers, any type of flowers but her house is so full of them she does not want anymore and that is what I usually buy her for her birthday so I decided to make her some.
I am also entering this card in the following challenges:
Artful Inkables - Birthday
All Sorts Challenge - Spring is in the Air
The Secret Crafter - Spring has Sprung
Frosted Design - Spring use a flower
Crafty Catz - Spring

Happy Birthday Ian
This is a card I made for The Greeting Farm's birthday challenge. I colored MerIan with my colored pencils. The dp is from the DCWV Caribbean stack. I used a turtle charm I picked up at Michael's. I attached the turtle to the teal chiffon ribbon with one of Tim Holtz's trinket pins that says "Findings". The "Birthday Wishes" is a vellum sticker from a Creative Memories pack I had in my stash. I made the inside into a gift card holder using the same dp and attached a velcro dot to the top flap to secure the gift card inside the card. TFL

Hoppy Easter Easel Card
I made this card for the three of the Digi Shack Blog Hop challenges. I used Lelia’s recipe challenge of a Digi Shack image (the bunny was sent to me for entering meeting one of the other challenges on the hop), three designer paper, a decorative punch (loopy around the page punch and I used my icicle punch and turned it upside down for the grass around the rabbit), and bling (my favorite embellishment). I used Ramona’s challenge of pop-dots to pop up the saying inside to hold the easel up and I popped the grass up in front of the rabbit to give it more of a 3D look. I made the easel card to meet Georgia’s challenge. I met five of the challenges on the blog hop so hopefully I made it in time for a chance at the grand prize.

Recipe Acrylic/Chipboard Mini Album
I won a wonderful mini album kit from Sheri’s blog on the Scrap Tiffany Blog Hop! Here is what I did with it at my crop this past weekend. Everything came with the kit and all I had to do was glue everything down, after I inked the edges of course. I used the glue runner from Love My Tapes that I talked about below. I also used the Big Bite Crop-a-dile to punch the holes in the album. It came with a bind-it-all o-wire but I do not have a BIA so just punched holes and am going to use rings with ribbon tied around it to hold it all together. My mother has been searching through all her recipes for some of my Great-Aunt's recipes and cannot find them, so I am calling my cousin for the recipes and am going to put them in here and give it to her for Mother's Day. I love the album, thanks Sheri!
Baby Shower Paper Bag Album
Here is one of the projects I worked on at the weekend crop I went to. It is a baby paper bag album. I didn't use all baby pastel paper but I did try to make it girly so that it can be used down the road simply by changing out the pictures. TFL
Sorry, still new to posting projects and I was asked for some details on how to make this. I did not make this paper album as it was given to me as a gift at a crop I went to but I will share how it was put together from looking at it. It is three paper bags flip flopped so they are facing a different way from the one on top. This one was sewn down the middle to hold all three bags together but I have also seen them where nothing was done except the whole punches for the ribbon or rings to hold them together. Then I just decorated each page as I would a scrapbook. I made sure I did not glue the die-cuts on the picture mat so they can slip the picture under the Sleeping Beauty and Jasmine die-cuts, cut out on my Cricut, to fit the mat. Then I covered three chipboard tags with Modge Podge and pp and punched a hole with the Big Bite Crop-a-dile for the ribbon. The three tags are then inserted into the open end of the bags and stick out a little to show the ribbon. You can put pictures or journaling on the tags. I inked the edges of all the paper and tags. Most of the paper is DCWV but also some scraps from my stash so I am not sure what company. "WELCOME" was cut out on the Cricut with Lyrical Letters (my favorite font cart. so far) and I used stickers from my stash for "McKenzie". Ribbon is also from my scrap pile so not sure of the company. The best part about this project is that I used everything from my stash or scrap pile so did not have to pay anything for this present and I think it is the best present I have given as every new mother likes to have a brag book handy to show everyone.
These are the three tags.

Hopping Along
I made this card for the progressive challenge at Delightful Inspirations. This is the first image for March sent to us by Deligthful Inspirations. You can read about the challenge here and you can see all of her stamps at Designed2Delight digital stamps. I also made this card for two other challenges on the Digi Shack Blog Hop. The first is for Marlene's challenge of spring theme, ribbon, punch (egg shape behind the bunny) and three main colors (yellow, green, orange). The second is for Tammy's color challenge of green, yellow and a splash of color which I used orange. TFL

Love My Tapes
I won some Love My Tapes double-sided adhesives a little while ago and have not really had a chance to play with it. I went to a scrap this past weekend and tried this adhesive on all of my projects to see what it was like. Just want to say that I do love this adhesive. It worked on ribbon which is my biggest problem. I just could not find anything that would hold down ribbon that well. If I used a liquid adhesive I would have to sit there and hold the ribbon in place until it dried. I also tried to run my ribbon through the little Xyron and it would not stick to the full length of the ribbon. I ran this adhesive along various ribbon for my projects and placed it down and it stayed plus it is clear tape so even on the gauzy ribbon you could barely see it. I used this adhesive to put paper on chipboard and it stayed in place. I will be going back for more of this adhesive. If you want to see some of their projects and read about the adhesive, you can visit their blog here.
I will be back later today or tomorrow with some pictures of the projects I made this past weekend.
